“In the year we have worked with Common Intent, we have seen our eCommerce sales increase by 60% YoY in our financial year reporting.”
About The Brand
It sounds cliche, but Gentle Habits is more than just a brand. It’s a genuine invitation and prescription to slow down and reconnect with the world around us.
Born out of a deep appreciation for Australia’s natural beauty, from a pair of minds who’d seen and felt the sharp end of burnout, Gentle Habits crafts products that encourage mindfulness and presence.
From incense that honours the diverse landscapes we call home, to dive masks that offer a new perspective on the ocean, and other products that inspire less, Gentle Habits is on a mission to create daily rituals that soothe and center, allowing us to engage with life in more meaningful and intentional ways.
Our Partnership
Our collaboration with Gentle Habits began back in 2023, driven by a shared commitment to helping people discover the brand’s unique offerings and embrace a more mindful way of living.
“Common Intent have become an integral extension of our team. Whilst they are maybe an agency, we see them as in house which— is shown by the care and time they give our account, and constant feedback and ways to keep scaling performance without breaking the bank.
There was never any over promises of ROI efficiencies that aren’t met, but from the outset a productive way of working that is evidence-based, and from the baseline of problem-solving to maximise and scale results.”
Gentle Habits were already established in the market, but our goal was to deepen their connection with their audience, making it easier for people to find and fall in love with their products and message.
Our core focal points were increasing visibility, reducing acquisition costs, and driving growth in eCommerce sales — all while staying true to the brand’s ethos of mindful living.
How We Helped
From the outset, our approach was centered around optimising Gentle Habits’ existing marketing efforts. We consulted on crucial SEO strategies, helped with auditing the website from a UX, SEO and CRO lens website to improve the user journey — two core aspects of any eCommerce strategy, with or without paid marketing.
Slow game, big dreams, long term.
But our work didn’t stop there — we took on the challenge of refining and expanding their digital presence through targeted performance marketing, with multi-channel campaigns designed to boost brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
As Gentle Habits continued to grow, we adapted our strategies to support their evolving needs.
Our efforts contributed to a significant increase in their Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) and a drop in Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), all while maintaining the brand’s commitment to quality and mindfulness.
In collaboration with the Gentle Habits team, we’ve helped the brand reach new audiences and new heights, including notable SEO wins that placed their products in front of Hailey Bieber’s team, right when they were looking for photoshoot material.
Our partnership has been about more than just driving numbers; it’s been about fostering a deeper connection between the brand and its audience, allowing Gentle Habits to continue its mission of bringing mindful, intentional living to the forefront.
Kind Words
“ Common Intent have become an integral extension of our team. Whilst they are maybe an agency, we see them as in house which— is shown by the care and time they give our account, and constant feedback and ways to keep scaling performance without breaking the bank.
There was never any over promises of ROI efficiencies that aren’t met, but from the outset a productive way of working that is evidence-based, and from the baseline of problem-solving to maximise and scale results
In the year we have worked with Common Intent we have seen our eCommerce sales increase by 60% YoY in our financial year reporting.
What is well worth noting in this result is that the CI team took control of the account with 10 months left in the FY, and once taking on the account we saw significant increases month on month, to results off our budgeted spends finishing the FY +26% to forecast.
This was achieved through maximising and executing learnings through our meta and Google ad accounts, SEO wins through audits and feedback and content, plus site audits, feedback and creative input to help achieve results before the money is spent or content is even published.
In short, CI know their sh*t, and are a highly valued part of our team who we celebrate the wins with, and are always striving to do better. ”
